Where's God?

As I scan the internet posts and blogs, as I visit the local churches, as I contemplate my own life and daily routine, I ask, where is God?

Hundreds of posts about the Christian life; once saved always saved? Pre Trib or Post Trib? Calvinism or dispensationalist? Music or no music?

And the churches! It seems to me that the only reason they include preaching, scripture reading, communion and worship is so that the people can walk away with a false sense that they have participated in their Christian duties and now they can feel real good about their TRUE religion, THE MODERN AMERICAN MORAL LIFESTYLE.

. You know, getting our education, buying a home, having one or two beautiful kids, becoming a soccer mom, having a prestige’s potion at work or in the church and playing the piano on Sunday mornings.

But, WHERE’S GOD?

Hasn’t God made it quite clear to us what it is that He desires from His people?

Yes I believe He has. The problem is that in these last days I believe we have compromised Gods known desire for His people. We have become calloused and board with the revealed will of God. We have substituted Gods will for SELF STIMULATION.


Micah 6:8
He has shown you, O man, what is good and what the Lord requires of you. But to do justly and to love mercy, and to walk humbly with your God.

This is Gods will for us! Our number one ambition in life is to daily seek the Lord with all of our hearts, resist our own selfish desires as well as this world’s lusts and attractions and stimulate each other in our Lord Jesus Christ.

Come on Saints! Let’s lift up and glorify the Lord individually and stimulate each other on in good works. We have a higher calling! Let’s make it our ambition to KNOW our God in Jesus Christ. Let’s make it our desire to seek His face and to see His Glory as we fellowship together in His Spirit.
